21rst Century is likely to be characterized by the advancement in technology. It is too early to judge but what I can see right now is the proof that ICT dominates and will never stop dominating the world’s education system.

Certainly! Something will happen if we shift from Teacher or learner-Centered method to ICT Centered. I am not only thinking about how many of us shall lose jobs, but also its impact on the society especially those who will be depending on us. If we teach to survive, it will be hard for us to manage the situation. But if we teach to educate for the good of the society, no problem we shall have. It will be the opportunity to have a rest. ICT will work on our behalf.

Our interpretations of the above pictures will determine our views about our future as teachers. Mine is that teachers who won’t lose jobs will need to be more qualified and there will be too much pressure on them.
They will need to have the better understanding of ICT use in teaching. The government or the institutions they will be working for will increase the salary because it is easy to manage few teachers. But……they will need to work hard, because there is no gain without pain.
I will conclude my opinion stating that if well-applied in teaching, ICT will improve the quality of education, reduce the number of teachers and increase the salary and pressure of few teachers remaining. So, it is better to start thinking about how to manage the influence of ICTeacher on our future as teachers. Remember the acronym “Born Before Computers” that is in the minds of some young generations when they are talking about adult generation in underdeveloped countries.
